Monobenzophenone and hydroquinone monobenzyl ether (MBEH), is an organic compound with a phenol chemical formula of C6H5CH2OC6H4OH. Used as a topical drug for medicinal depigmentation. It is a colorless solid classified as hydroquinone monobenzyl ether. Monobenzone is soluble in ethanol, benzene and ether, and almost insoluble in water.
